Stainless steel signet ring with traditional nautical swallow and wave details wrapping around the band.

One of the most popular symbols amongst seafaring men, swallow tattoos were often worn by experienced sailors who had travelled 5,000 and 10,000 nautical miles. A swallow on both sides of the chest commemorated these dangerous achievements. Legend also holds that swallows return to the same nesting place each year, and so the tattoo eventually came to symbolize the sailor's safe return to solid ground.

    Always come back home
